About the Position: This position is located in Tacoma, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Advanced in hire may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Supervise staff by setting and adjusting short/long term priorities and assigning work to subordinates based on the priorities, assignments, and available skills.
- →Develop performance objectives and evaluates the work performance of subordinates Approve staff absences and certifies timecards.
- →Check to ensure patients have been prepped for surgery, and that there are no signs of respiratory, viral, clinical infection, or skin disorders that may delay or cancel surgery.
- →Select, assemble, and organize required supplies, equipment, and instruments for specific surgical procedure in accordance with operative work sheets, physician preference cards, and/or conferring with physician or charge nurse.
- →Open instrument sets, pours solutions, set up equipment, and makes adjustments to such equipment as electric coagulators, electric bone saws, operating microscopes, air power drills, defibrillators, and resuscitators.
