About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Army Medical Center Madigan, Department of Primary Care, Optometry Clinic located at Tacoma, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Advance in Hire may be Authorized Recruitment Incentive may be Authorized
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a first line supervisor over technical staff serving in three primary care optometry clinics.
- →Supervise all optometry health technicians and medical support assistants.
- →Direct subordinate staff work and resolve minor daily problems.
- →Provide on-the-job training to new employees following established procedures.
- →Assist with patient tracker mock survey activities Manage appropriate inventory of office supplies, orders major equipment (CEEP items) Perform direct patient care and administer appropriate diagnostic tests.
- →Measure visual acuity and record comprehensive ocular history data.
