About the Position: This position is located in San Antonio, Texas or Falls Church, Virginia. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Exercise managerial authority to set near, short, and long-range plans, goals, and objectives affecting cost management programs.
- →Manage division activities and guides policy related to the assigned responsibilities of the division.
- →Serve on numerous Defense Health Agency (DHA) policy Work Groups and Committees to ensure tri-service standardization.
- →Review and validate business workflows for the electronic health record and the billing and revenue management platform for DHA enterprise use and efficiency.
- →Assign work to Branch Leads/Program Managers and/or individual positions reporting directly, ranging in grade GS-7 up to and including GS-15s, balancing workload and focusing resources.
- →Conduct continuous evaluations of team functions and processes and initiates appropriate action to improve or simplify operations.
- →Review and recommend approval, amendment, or revision of action documents, position papers, planning documents, and other materials prepared for the information and signature of the Director /Chief Financial Officer, and other senior DHA leaders.
