This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ),Quality and Safety Oversight Group, Division of Nursing Homes, Oversight and Transparency Branch. As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist (Branch Manager), GS-0107-14, you will serve as Branch Chief, guiding the staff that develop and improve program strategies related to health quality and safety standards.
What You'll Do
- →Provide advice, counsel, and instruction on both work and administrative matters, and foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
- →Serve as a recognized technical expert within CCSQ and CMS on nursing home enforcement.
- →Develop issue papers, briefing materials, and draft responses for senior CMS leadership.
- →Provide expert advice to senior Agency decision-makers, management officials, and nationwide stakeholders on nursing home oversight, regulations, and the policies and procedures that implement them.
