About the Role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the Fire and Emergency Services of NSF THURMONT.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Assistant Fire Chief of Fire Prevention.
- →This position involves assistance, advice, and recommendations concerning fire prevention matters to all levels of commands within the area where fire protection services are provided.
- →You will provide oversight for reviews of plans for new construction and alteration and extension of existing structures.
- →You will conduct or supervise investigations of fires to determine cause and report findings to responsible command authority.
- →You will inspect operations, facilities, and buildings to determine adequacy of fire safety practices and to test operational readiness.
