About the Role
You will serve as a Supervisory Firefighter (Assistant Fire Chief) in the Fire and Emergency Services Department of U.S. Naval Support Activity NAVSUPPACT SOUDA BAY, Greece.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as Assistant Fire Chief.
- →You will evaluate effectiveness and establish long-term and short-term objectives.
- →You will prepare and disseminate the Standard Operating Procedures used by the department for daily tasks and emergency operations.
- →You will direct and control maintenance records, reports and statistical data.
- →You will assist in directing the preparation of pre fire incident, emergency response, and disaster preparedness plans.
- →You will evaluate subordinate supervisors or leaders and serve as review official on evaluations.
Requirements
- ✓No minimum education requirements for this position.
- ✓Souda Bay is a location that is a without the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) support normally associated with an overseas assignment.

- ✓Options are limited to boarding school, DOD virtual school, home school and 2 international schools.
- ✓The participating International schools located on the Island of Crete are not conducive for High School Students preparing for College and most high school students attend boarding school.
