You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist in Biscayne National Park.
What You'll Do
- →Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Park Management Team: Provides expert facility-management guidance and helps develop and implement park management strategies and policies.
- →Evaluates maintenance programs for compliance and effectiveness.
- →Represents the park in public and interagency engagement, negotiating and collaborating with partners.
- →Acts on behalf of the park within delegated authority.
- →Asset, Operations & Fleet Management: Manages facility management systems and maintains asset inventories and condition assessments.
- →Establishes asset priorities, deferred maintenance needs, and replacement values.
- →Plans and directs operations to ensure efficient asset performance.
- →Tracks work and adjusts annual plans to meet deficiencies and operational needs.
- →Project Management: Oversees development and implementation of facility projects, including alternatives when infrastructure cannot meet mission needs.
- →Defines project scope and goals, coordinates planning and design, prepares budgets, and manages construction and documentation.
- →Risk Management & Safety: Runs a comprehensive safety program to eliminate hazards and enforce regulations.
- →Manages medical monitoring programs and maintains employee safety records.
- →Oversees incident reporting, trend analysis, inspections, and corrective actions to ensure OSHA compliance.
- →Financial Management: Develops and manages the maintenance division budget using NPS financial systems.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
