You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist in Blue Ridge Parkway.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist (Deputy Chief of Maintenance & Engineering) for the Blue Ridge Parkway.
- →This position reports to the Chief of Maintenance & Engineering, Blue Ridge Parkway, and is duty stationed at the Blue Ridge Parkway Headquarters, Asheville, North Carolina.
- →As the Deputy Chief of Maintenance & Engineering, the incumbent is directly responsible for providing leadership and management of the field maintenance operations across the three (3) districts of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia and North Carolina.
- →This position is responsible for a multi-faceted organization through the management of subordinate supervisory staff, multi year/operational budgets, and the utilization of new information technologies.
- →These duties provide stewardship of assets/facilities ensuring, visitor use and enjoyment as well as the protection of natural and cultural resources.
- →Area/Duty Station Information The Blue Ridge Parkway extends 469 miles along the crest of the southern Appalachian Mountains through North Carolina and Virginia between two eastern national parks - Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountains.

- →Asheville, North Carolina - The duty station is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Park's Headquarters, which is located in Asheville, North Carolina.

Requirements
