About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, TX. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Oversee nutrition assessment and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for patients receiving treatment from all medical services provided within the hospital and outlying clinics.
- →Ensure competency records for clinical employees are maintained according to hospital policy.
- →Manage department patient satisfaction and quality assurance programs.
- →Update hospital nutraceutical formulary according to the current various contracts.
- →Provide support to outpatient and community nutrition education programs.
