This Supervisory Dietitian (Clinical Nutrition) position is located within the Nutrition and Food Services at the VA Bedford Healthcare Systems in Bedford, MA. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- →Provides administrative management and direction of the Clinical Nutrition Section.
- →Ensures proper coordination between the delivery of clinical nutrition services and the overall delivery of health care.
- →Responsible for the evidence-based guidelines are integrated into clinical practice and collaborate closely with the Supervisory Dietitian (Food operations) to enhance the Veteran's dining Supports the strategic goals of the food operations section.
- →Serves as a professional and technical advisor to staff and other health care professionals.
- →Completes projects, committees and workgroups within the department and facility.
- →Plans, directs and assess the work and competence of subordinate staff.
- →Collaborates with other managers in the medical center to negotiate and/or make decisions related matters affecting clinical operations.
- →Develops procedures and guidelines for clinical operations and monitors compliance with regulatory standards and policies and procedures.

Requirements
