About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the Directorate of Clinical Support, Department of Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. What You'll Do
- →Perform ultrasonography scanning of patients.
- →Plan and coordinate work operations by establishing priorities and preparing schedules.
- →Coordinate stockage of the drugs, medications, and all medical supplies used in the section.
- →Supervise, assign work, and evaluate the technical performance of subordinates.
- →Prepare patients for diagnostic ultrasound procedures by explaining procedure and positioning them to ensure comfort and optimal imaging.
- →Initiate intravenous (IV) to patients when clinically required.
- →Provide hands on training to diagnostic radiologic technicians, technologist and resident physicians.
