About the Role
This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General, OIG, Office of Investigation. As a Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Special Agent in Charge), you will be responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and managing the work of the Region or Division.
What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Special Agent in Charge), you will: Plan, direct, oversee, and coordinate the conduct of criminal investigations of individuals, groups, or entities suspected of violations of the criminal laws of the United States concerning the HUD programs and operations.
- →Serve as the IG's representative with Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies for all investigative related matters under the incumbent's jurisdiction.
- →Develop and implement investigative programs and methods for all activities designed to prevent and detect fraud, abuse, and other criminal activities involving the programs, operations, and employees of HUD, its contractors and grantees.
- →Prepare and disseminate comprehensive investigative reports and administrative findings.
- →Review staff investigation reports for completeness and adequacy of documentary evidence to substantiate prosecution of criminal cases.
