About the Role
The Supervisory Criminal Investigator (ASAIC/RAIC) position is located in the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Inspections and Investigations (OII), Office of Criminal Investigations (OCI). As FDA's criminal law enforcement and intelligence arm, OCI is responsible for protecting public health and furthering the FDA mission by investigating suspected criminal violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) and other related laws.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as first level supervisor in the Field and/or Resident Offices providing counsel, leadership, and managerial direction necessary for the effective accomplishment of the investigative and administrative responsibilities of the staff.
- →Provides expertise and technical authority in the planning, development, management, and oversight of complex multifaceted investigative matters regarding criminal activities related to provisions of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
- →Provide technical and administrative supervision over professional criminal investigators and investigative support staff, setting priorities, making assignments, and evaluating work accomplished.
- →Participate in determining Agency program goals and resource allocations for national criminal investigation activities.
