About the Role
Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Professional Responsibility, Investigative Operations Directorate, located in Washington D.C. Multiple programs to choose from; CBP/Intake/Case Management, Significant Incident Programs, Specialized Investigations, Standards and Compliance, Workforce Development and Training, Special Investigations Unit and Inspections.

- →Once onboarded, you'll first be assigned for up to one year to support the D.C.

- →This position starts at a salary of $173,968.00 (GS-15, Step 1) to $197,200.00 (GS-15, Step 10).
- →Duties include, but not limited to the following: Managing the development of programs in response to levels of appropriations or other legislated changes.
- →Monitoring the progress of programs and assuring all investigations and inspections, are conducted pursuant to CIGIE Standards, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- →Communicating performance requirements and evaluates work performance and recommending recognition as well as disciplinary actions, when necessary.

- ✓Relocation expenses will be paid in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulation limits and agency policy.
- ✓Both basic and advanced training programs are designed to prepare law enforcement personnel with the skills, aptitudes, and competencies required to serve as a Criminal Investigator.
