About the Role
About the Position: The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Chief, Medical Officer. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service .
What You'll Do
- →Provide guidance to the hospital commander regarding policy in Psychology issues.
- →Participate with other professional staff in providing emergency mental health services.
- →Provide psychological and clinical consultation to other professionals and paraprofessionals through established consultation channels.
- →Coordinate with a variety of agencies to assist with the multidisciplinary treatment of patients.
- →Assign work to accomplish by subordinate supervisors or by subordinates who guide and control work.
- →Review job descriptions of subordinates for currency and accuracy.
