About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Polk, Louisiana. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized for highly qualified candidates.
What You'll Do
- →Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- →Offer to providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
- →Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
- →Provide guidance to hospital leadership regarding policy on Psychology issues.
- →Provide professional and clinical consultation to military and community leaders and multidisciplinary professionals.
- →Treat severe and complex variations of adult psychological dysfunction by making diagnostic clinical formulations based on the DSM.
- →Supervises performance of federal civilian employees assigned to the clinic to include establishing work priorities, making assignments, monitoring work performed and providing guidance on technical and administrative matters.
