What You'll Do
- →Serve as Chief for a resident or area construction field office responsible for supervising and personally performing the full range of office engineering and construction contract administration duties.
- →Direct the work of professional and technical personnel who review, analyze and negotiate major contractor schedules, modifications, requests for information, and claims.
- →Maintain overall technical responsibility and accountability for the technical adequacy of the work of the Section/Resident Office within the field office.
- →Plan work, set priorities, and prepare work schedules.
- →Assign work to subordinates based on position descriptions and work priorities.
- →Serve as advisor to the Chief Construction Division recommending contract administration policy, and advising on matters related to office engineering and construction contract administration.
