- →This position is located in the Office of Finance at Customs and Border Protection within the Department of Homeland Security.
- →The purpose of this position is to serve as the Director of Mission Support.
- →This position starts at a salary of $169,279.00 (GS-15, Step 1) to $197,200.00 (GS-, Step 10) with promotion potential to $197,200 (GS-15 Step 10).

- →Typical duties include: Overseeing the development and execution of policies and procedures, ensuring they are compliant with, but not limited to, laws, rules, regulations, and Office of Management and Budget (OMB), DHS, and Department of the Treasury policies.
- →Providing expert advice and guidance to executives.
- →Administering the Office of Finance approved budget and Establishes policies and procedures to maintain full administrative control over all OF funds.
- →Managing the development and execution of human capital (e.g. hiring) and training policies and procedures across OF, ensuring they are compliant with, but not limited to, laws, rules, regulations, and Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and DHS policies.
- →Provides expert advice and guidance to OF executives.
- →Overseeing the development and execution of asset and administrative (e.g. purchase card) policies and procedures and ensuring they are compliant with, but not limited to, laws, rules, regulations, and General Services Administration (GSA) and DHS policies.
- →Providing expert advice and guidance to OF executives Developing program plans to integrate budget decision-making with OF strategic planning, investment management, and procurement processes to develop resource estimates that align with the OF's long-range performance plans and goals under the Future Years Homeland Security Program.
