About the Role
About the Position: This position is subject to organizational compensation limits as identified in the organization's CCAS business rules or compensation management strategy policy. The compensation limit for this position is equivalent to the GS-14, step 10. The salary range for this position is $138,734-$180,360. If the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-14, step 10 level, incumbent will be put on a salary control point at the incumbent's existing salary.
What You'll Do
- →Review and analyze Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Foreign Military Financing (FMF) budget to determine budget issues or areas of improvement.
- →Analyze budgetary constraints of legislation, policies and procedures to determine impact on funding.
- →Execute budgetary and financial management functions on issues, policies, and procedures applicable to the budget execution.
- →Develop and distribute guidance and documentation for budget issues.
- →Review budget submissions for accuracy, consistency and in conjunction with the budget year.
- →Identify financial problem areas to ensure obligations/expenditures remain within the controls of the program.
- →Lead teams to carry out projects/programs related to budget execution and financial management.
- →Mentor staff to promote the strategic direction of financial programs and/or projects.
