Air Reserve Technicians are full-time civilian employees who are also members of the Air Force Reserve unit in which they are employed. In addition to their civilian assignments, they are assigned to equivalent positions in the Reserve organization with a Reserve military rank or grade. Appointee's civilian assignments will consist of the following duties.
What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer position to serve as Operations Group Commander/Senior ART and as such, manage the flight operations function on a daily basis.
- →Duty 1: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the operations organization.
- →Duty 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Duty 3: Represents the Operations Group with a variety of installation and functional area organizers.
- →Duty 4: Manages the flying and ground training program for the group.
- →Duty 5: Flies as an aircrew member in unit aircraft, as required.
