About the Role
The ATM directs a facility that is staffed by a highly technical workforce that provides air traffic control services throughout a moderate geographic area. The work impacts the safe, orderly, and expeditious movement of aircraft as well as large segments of the aviation industry.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as an Air Traffic Manager (ATM) in a ATC-9 terminal facility and is responsible for planning and directing all activities within the facility/hub.
- →Continuously reviews work processes to assure that results meet the agency's mission and the customer's needs, add value to facility services, and are efficiently achieved.
- →Provides training, coaching and guidance to their subordinates and is responsible for team building throughout the facility.
- →The incumbent manages functionally integrated teams of operational and support personnel.
- →Interprets measures of organizational performance and provides leadership to the management team on ways to improve organizational performance and meet strategic goals.
