You will serve as the COMPETENCY BRANCH HEAD and FIRST-LINE SUPERVISOR in the DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION DIVISION, CLOUD SERVICES and CYBERSECURITY BRANCH of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
What You'll Do
- →You will assign work based on priorities and considering the difficulty of assignments and the capabilities of employees.
- →You will evaluate work performance, provide advice, counsel, and instruction on both work-related and administrative matters.
- →You will interview candidates for positions within the unit and recommend appointments, promotions, or reassignments.
- →You will resolve complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager.
- →You will identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for the necessary development and training to ensure a high level of competency and to foster career growth.
- →You will find ways to improve the quality of the work directed and develop and maintain performance standards for the branch.
- →You will develop and monitor technical and personnel metrics for the branch.
- →You will work with Product Owners to ensure the health of core capabilities that impact the branch's assigned output area.
