You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Sensor Integration and Technology Department (Code LXLB0) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Business Operations Branch Manager and shall demonstrate strong leadership skills, innovative thinking ability, and management skills.
- →You will provide employees continuous creative ideas to meet and exceed employee and customer needs.
- →The Branch Manager identifies resources and manages future growth to include providing the training and tools for employees.
- →You will as the Branch Manager be interfacing with multiple customers and policy makers on technical and management issues.
- →You will also be responsible for the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity for the development/implementation of the Branch's policies/procedures.
- →You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the long/short-term planning for funding, human resources, facilities, and equipment.
- →You will develop schedules/milestones that support current and future infrastructure and plans for growth.
- →You will design and implement programs that support mission requirements and formulate goals, plans, and methods of evaluation.
- →You will anticipate and analyze risks to resources, products, programs and processes and will be responsible for implementing effective control measures.
