About the Role
Two (2) Page Resume Limit Applies for this Position. This developmental position, located at the Dayton VAMC, within the Office of Care Coordination Center, composes a career ladder structure to the full performance level of Administrative Officer, GS-0341-11.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include but are not limited to: Maintains administrative systems, prepares administrative paperwork.
- →Personally investigates all formal and informal complaints made by other employees in the Care Coordination Center service line; recommends alternative dispute resolution; recommends corrective actions; requests implementation by appropriate individuals; and notifies employees of decisions and actions taken.
- →Conducts studies on workload trends, compiles workload statistics for staffing, and estimates workload projections through provided formulas and guidelines.
- →Meets/talks with patients, family members and other visitors who have a specific concern that the patient representative has not been able to resolve.
- →He/she works to coordinate/resolve Veteran issues and concerns.
- →Responds to inquiries from patients, family members, Dayton VA members and other parties as appropriate.
- →The incumbent resolves operating problems for users by applications of equipment operating manuals, troubleshooting procedures, and personal knowledge of the system.
- →Oversees the daily operational needs of the scheduling service line within Care Coordination Center.
- →Ensures that agency policies and priorities are being followed; develops performance standards; and evaluates work performance of subordinates.
- →Gives advice, counsel, and instruction to subordinates and colleagues on both work and administrative matters.
- →Hears and resolves minor complaints for Incumbents; refers group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager; effects minor disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands and recommends action in more serious cases.
