What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Acquisition Management Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Oversee customer support services providing requisition, procurement, and acquisition support to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) and Field Delegates.
- →Program, analyze, and control funds allocated for procurement.
- →Evaluate acquisition procedures and systems to develop and implement changes in support of efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
- →Develop tracking and surveying mechanisms to determine deficiencies and subsequently develop training and instructions to inform staff knowledge and procedural gaps.
- →Plan and distribute work to be accomplished by subordinates.
- →Evaluate the work performance of subordinates, providing technical oversight and instruction and addressing poor performance as part of the performance process.
- →POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the submission of a Financial Disclosure Form, SF 450.
- →Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC-C) Contracting Officer Level-I certification must have a minimum of 25k warrant and ability to acquire up to $150k warrant.

- ✓This position will be filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System (CAPS).
- ✓Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band.
- ✓The ZA-4 is equivalent to the GS-13/14.
- ✓Key Requirements: Applicants must be U.S.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by background investigation.

- ✓Must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable (www.sss.gov) Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.

- ✓Additional Considerations: One year probationary period may be required.
- ✓A one year supervisory probationary period may be required (probationary period can be served concurrently).
- ✓Payment of relocation expenses (PCS) is not authorized.
- ✓This position requires Moderate Risk Security Clearance.
- ✓Background investigation will be required.
- ✓Continued employment is subject to applicant's successful completion of security investigation and favorable adjudication.
