This vacancy is for a GS-0301-14, Strategic Planning Officer located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Atlantic Area (LANTAREA), Resource Management Division in Portsmouth, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Strategic Planning Officer and be responsible for leading the .
- →Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
- →Typical work assignments include: Develops the Area Commander's operational strategy and strategic intent in alignment with national-level strategy.
- →Oversees all personnel, administrative, resource, and budget functions within the Resource Management Division.
- →Develops, implements, and coordinates processes for completing policy and doctrine review.
- →Ensures alignment of resource processes with strategic priorities across the Area's Divisions and subordinate units.
- →Briefs senior leadership on a wide range of resource allocation issues to obtain and coalesce their input.

Requirements
