About the Position: This position is assigned to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness (USD (P&R)). This position may be eligible for situational telework as determined by the agency policy.
What You'll Do
- →Lead, plan, organize, manage, and oversee cross-organizational activities that pertain to strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.
- →Develop policies or strategies supporting implementation and/or administration of strategic communication plans.
- →Govern a broad range of media engagement activities addressing manpower and reserve affairs.
- →Influence representatives of diverse organizations align strategic messaging and engagement efforts of communications across the department.
- →Validate accuracy of responses to media requests for information.
- →Develop goals that integrate organization and strategic communications objectives.
