About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

- →Louis Health Care System based leadership position located in VISN 15.
- →The CRH PC Section Chief is under the general supervision of the VISN 15 CRH Chief Nurse.
- →This position is responsible for the leadership, management, and operations of the VISN 15 level CRH PC Programs and physician collaboration with CRH physician assistants in primary care and V15 CRH clinical contact center.
- →The CRH PC section chief will work directly with VISN CRH leadership (e.g., Pharmacy, Mental Health, Nursing, CCC etc.) and VISN leadership (e.g.
- →VISN 15 Primary Care ICC, Telehealth, Pharmacy, Nursing lead, etc.) to ensure that the CRH PC services are high performing.

- →This individual is responsible for providing Primary Care specific education and consultation to CRH and VISN leadership, ensuring that CRH services are completed at the highest standard.
- →This CRH PC Section Chief is required to exercise a high level of leadership and organizational skill, independent judgment, problem-solving ability, and content expertise in program development, implementation and evaluation.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.

- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- ✓Must be proficient in written and spoken English.

- ✓Must pass pre-employment physical examination.
- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
