About the Role
What You'll Do
- →Major Duties: Provide clinical, administrative, and strategic leadership.
- →Oversee physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and administrative personnel.
- →Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based outpatient care.
- →Monitor clinic workload, panel capacity, and clinic utilization.
- →Scheduling practices and panel management.
- →Support team-based care through effective PACT model implementation.
- →Promote population health management and preventive care initiatives.
- →Monitor clinical outcomes and quality performance indicators.
- →Ensure compliance with national VHA clinical practice guidelines.
- →Promote consistent standards of care across all Primary Care locations.
- →Supervise Primary Care Providers at the CBOC Monitor and observe PACT provider activities such as encounter completion.
- →Progress note completion, consult utilization patterns, eRouter completion, and clinical reminder completion.
- →Ensure accurate documentation and coding of service rendered by the providers.
- →Participate in activation of new clinical initiatives related to CBOC primary care Monitor CBOC PACT provider staffing supply/demand ratios at each location and request additional staffing positions/coverage when needed.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).

- ✓Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in allopathic medicine or osteopathic medicine.
