This position is located at Fort Riley, KS. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
What You'll Do
- →Provide support and assistance to the CYS Youth Sprots and Fitness Director in the area of fitness, volunteer coaches, and maintaining National Youth Sports Coaches Association training guidelines.
- →Supports the operation of intramural programs for youth and provides skill - building programs for children.
- →Assist coaches in practice procedures, operating an effective coach/ parent meeting, sport- specific training, and parent relations.
- →Conducts practice and game visits as required for the purpose of providing support and assistance.
- →Interacts with children and youth using approved child guidance and youth development techniques.
- →Encourages participant interest, good sportsmanship, and safety.
- →Provides oversight and accountability for program participants in compliance with DoD, Army, and local policies, guidance, and standards.
- →Maintains control of and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children and youth.
