The primary purpose of this position, SPECIAL WEAPONS SYSTEM MECHANIC LEADER, WL-6656-11, is to lead workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a full time and continuing basis. Leader is responsible to perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensure that subordinates completed assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a working leader for a crew with a minimum of three employees.
- →Perform missile/motor disassembly technical work, technical trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led.
- →Perform missile/motor assembly operations.
- →Perform component overhaul and repair through the use of tools and support equipment.
- →Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
