What You'll Do
- →Ensures that the policies are technically sound and managerially responsive to meet organizational requirements.
- →Conducts comprehensive management studies using knowledge of economic principles, cost analysis and environmental assessments as related to space management, analyzing study results ,identifying problems and improvements.
- →Analyzes and evaluates space requests considering activities organization structure, workflow, staffing, mission, location, special requirements and availability of space.
- →Evaluates requests for additional space assignments within prescribed space allocations for permanent staff, approved contractor support, or ad hoc groups to determine the necessity for urgent requests.
- →Coordinates the procurement, changes and moves of telephone and local area network services to support personnel and classified or unclassified equipment relocations for special projects.
Requirements
- ✓GS-11 Substitution of Education for Experience: Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement.
- ✓Equivalent combinations of successfully completed higher-level graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
- ✓If you are using education to substitute for the specialized experience, you must submit transcripts at the time you apply.
- ✓To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education (http://www2.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/index.html).
- ✓There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level.
