What You'll Do
- →Accesses Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) to resolve issues, test updates and work system issue responses.
- →Serves as principal monitor of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the Supplier Operations area, as the selection of sourcing strategies is a key driver of all procurement KPIs.
- →Researches and analyzes KPI data that illustrates Vendor/Supplier Effectiveness (V/SE), Production Lead Time (PLT), Administrative Lead Time (ALT), Supplier Readiness (Surge), and Procurement Cost as a Percentage of Sales.
- →Identify candidates, makes recommendations to Acquisition Spec, for long term contracts by analyzing assigned group of National Stock Numbers and Federal Supply Classes using factors such as sales drivers, demand drivers, potential readiness drivers.
- →Develop procurement objectives and contractual strategies.
- →Ensure acquisition plans are in full compliance with contracting regulations and related DoD standards.
- →Establish milestones and schedules for the logistics efforts and for contract terminations.
- →Develop negotiation strategy and conduct negotiations to consummate award actions.
- →Coordinate with the DLA activities and military customers in order to implement the corporate contracts.
- →Serve as a warranted Contracting Officer and may be responsible for applying signature to final award documents to obligate DLA funds.
