SOLUTION CAD ENGINEER III

Unlimited Technology (UT). designs, installs, and services integrated electronic and physical security systems (access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, physical barriers, etc.) for government and commercial entities. Though based primarily in the mid-Atlantic region, our team members dispatch to locations throughout the nation and occasionally overseas. UT is searching for a SOLUTION CAD ENGINEER III. This position will be REMOTE. Location is flexible within the United States.

POSITION SUMMARY

Working in the Engineering department, the Solution CAD Engineer III will interface with UT internal resources as well as external customers, end-users and architects to support the essential job duties listed below. These duties will be fulfilled by collaborating with the UT Solutions Engineering, Business Development, Operations, and Project Management teams for physical security system design, documentation, and estimating support.

The Solutions CAD Engineer III will be primarily responsible for developing detailed CAD drawing packages for specific customers by adhering to customer design standards, system guidelines, and industry best practices. This role is a hybrid of Solutions Engineering and CAD-focused responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on AutoCAD production, design accuracy, and constructability.
