The Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program (IPVAP) Social Worker is assigned to the IPVAP Program with primary responsibilities to provide clinical evidence-based services and interventions; provide Veteran and staff education on intimate partner violence (IPV); engage in community outreach and resource development, continuous quality-improvement activities, and evaluation and consultation. **Position can be located at the following facilities: Santa Rosa, Oakland, San Francisco & Eureka
What You'll Do
- →The IPVAP-C is based in the medical center and/or CBOC in order to support real time, virtual and in person, response to referrals or to support other trained staff in responding to immediate needs of Veterans, their partners, or VA staff impacted by intimate partner violence.
- →In so doing, IPVAP-C will be an active participant on the Disruptive Behavioral Committee - a clinical consultation team and branch of the Workplace Violence Prevention Program (WVPP).

Requirements
