Social Work Program Coordinator, Community Engagement & Reintegration Services (CERS), GS-0185-1, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Los Angeles, CA. The Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC) program Coordinator is responsible for the professional and administrative management of the CRRC; the Veterans Justice Outreach (VJO) Program; and the local National Call Center For Homeless Veterans.

- →The CRRC Program Coordinator is responsible for staffing, work assignments, budget, clinical/administrative services, eligibility criteria, program operations, and reporting requirements for approximately 25 staff.
- →Responsibilities for this position are complex in size and scope with multiple clinicians & paraprofessional staff providing a variety of psychosocial services to over 3,000 homeless veterans yearly across the Greater LA catchment area.
- →The CRRC Program Coordinator provides analysis and evaluation of program data and computerized programs to identify system-wide trends and needs to enhance the quality of service.
- →They develop and monitor staff compliance with practice, standards and guidelines.
- →The CRRC Program Coordinator supervises staff at the GS-12 grade level and below.
- →The incumbent may also provide direct clinical services.
- →The incumbent demonstrates possession of advanced practice skills in the specialty area and demonstrates professional competency and judgement.
- →Social workers at this grade level must be licensed or certified at the advanced practice level and must be able to provide supervision for licensure.
- →In carrying out the responsibilities, it will be necessary for the incumbent to travel throughout the Greater Los Angeles area where he/she conducts interviews with staff, Veterans, their families, representatives of community health and welfare agencies and law enforcement agencies.
