About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Naval Hospital Beaufort, South Carolina This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
- →Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- →Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendatons for team-based care.
- →Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- →Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters Collect bio-psychosocial information about patients using interview, case history, observation techniques, and assessment methods.
- →Provide a comprehensive range of complex clinical mental health care to individuals severely impacted by moderate to severe psychiatric diagnoses.
- →Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments to patient's treatment plans as appropriate.
- →Provides limited case management to improve individual family and occupational functioning and mitigate crises.
