About the Position: This position is located within the Behavioral Health Clinic at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, TN. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Screens and interviews patients and performs bio-psychosocial evaluations.
- →Provides targeted assessment and evaluation which includes diagnostic impressions and functional status focused on the presenting problem.
- →Provides timely and succinct feedback to other medical providers and service members' command when appropriate regarding consultations findings and recommendations.
- →Makes behavioral health diagnoses as appropriate in accordance with DSM-V criteria or other more current accepted standards. - Formulates behavioral health interventions and assists with implementing and monitoring treatment plans.
- →Provides individual and group therapy using various modalities as clinically indicated to include brief problem-focused psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and client-centered therapy.
- →Evaluates treatment effectiveness using objectives and measurable outcomes to make adjustments if appropriate for increased compliance and efficacy.
- →Assesses and provides crisis intervention for service members.
- →Provide concise documentation of care and recommendations in patient’s medical record in no more than 72 hours after the patient is seen.
