About the Role
About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide treatment to highly complex cases in which individuals are severely impacted by moderate to severe psychiatric diagnoses.
- →Collect biopsychosocial information about patients through interview, case history, observation techniques, and other assessment methods.
- →Analyze information collected to identify symptoms, determine psychiatric diagnosis and develop treatment plan.
- →Evaluate results of counseling methods to determine the effectiveness of treatment used.
- →Independently provide comprehensive social work services in the form of casework and case management by consulting on or developing discharge plans.
- →Provide individual, family, and group clinical counseling services using various evidenced based modalities as clinically indicated for adults and children.
- →Provide emergency on-call crisis management services for mental health cases.
