About the Position: This position will be located in Directorate of Mental Health, Naval Medical Center, San Diego CA. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advanced Leave Accrual MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advanced In-Hire MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Work with highly complex cases in which individuals are severely impacted by moderate to severe psychiatric diagnoses.
- →Collect bio-psychosocial information about patients through interview, case history, observation techniques, and other assessment methods.
- →Analyze information collected to identify symptoms and develop treatment plan.
- →Provide comprehensive social work services in the form of casework and case management by consulting on or developing discharge plans.
- →Provide individual, family, and group clinical counseling services using various evidenced based modalities as clinically indicated for adults and children.
- →Develop individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis.
- →Provide emergency on-call crisis management services for behavioral health cases and all other social work needs as designated by the section or department needs.
