About the Position: This position will be located in Directorate of Mental Health- Psychiatry, Naval Medical Center, San Diego CA. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advanced Leave Accrual MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advanced In-Hire MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Work with highly complex cases in which individuals are severely impacted by moderate to severe psychiatric diagnoses.
- →Collect bio-psychosocial information about patients through interview, case history, observation techniques, and other assessment methods.
- →Analyze information collected to identify symptoms and develop treatment plan.
- →Provide comprehensive social work services in the form of casework and case management by consulting on or developing discharge plans.
- →Provide individual, family, and group clinical counseling services using various evidenced based modalities as clinically indicated for adults and children.
- →Develop individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis.
- →Provide emergency on-call crisis management services for behavioral health cases and all other social work needs as designated by the section or department needs.
