About the Role

About the Position: This position is located at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital within Fort Polk, LA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

What You'll Do

  • Screen and interviews patients to conduct bio-psychosocial evaluations using expert knowledge of psychological counseling principles and practices.
  • Formulate behavioral health interventions to support implementation and monitoring of individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide focused follow-ups that include relapse prevention education and support.
  • Design treatment programs and protocols to address identified local clinical needs.
  • Perform administrative duties as a contributing member of the interdisciplinary team.
