About the Role
You will serve as a Shipwright in the located in the Service Shop (990), Production Resources Department Manager (901), Production Resources Department (900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will install and repair bulkheads, wall and floor coverings, ladder treading and other temporary protective coverings.
- →You will erect any staging required to support Production and Public Works Shops on all vessels as needed.
- →You will retain proper qualifications to operate crane, hoist, forklifts, and/or other motor vehicles.
- →You will use knowledge of supporting structures and competence in preparation for launching.
