About the Role

This position, located at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, Facilities Management Service, provides support to the medical center by constructing, installing and repairing HVAC systems and other structures throughout the medical center.

What You'll Do

  • Major duties of this position include but are not limited to...
  • Performs the most complex or unusually complicated aspects of sheet metal work such as designing, constructing and installing unconventionally shaped ductwork curves, bends, transitions, reducers, etc.
  • Develops patterns for items having numerous and irregular angles, plans and curves and applies principles of radial-line development combined with parallel-line development Uses complicated shop mathematics to figure irregular cuts, angles, and pitch.
