The primary purpose of this position, SHEET METAL MECHANIC LEADER, WL-3806-10, is to lead three or more workers to accomplish trade and/or labor work on a substantially full-time and continuing basis. The leader is responsible to perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensure that subordinates complete assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards.
What You'll Do
- →Lead a team of trades and/or labor workers. 2.
- →Perform nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led. 3.
- →Examine aircraft sheet metal structures for cracks, breaks, holes, bulges, dents, and loose or missing rivets. 4.
- →Use and maintains tools. 5.
- →Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulation and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
