You will serve as a Sheet Metal Mechanic (Aircraft) in the MRO Production Department, Production Lines Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
What You'll Do
- →You will assess damaged parts to determine the sequence of operations necessary for sheet metal repairs or replacements.
- →You will remove fixed sheet metal and composite structures from aircraft and disassemble structural and non-structural metal and composite components.
- →You will use hand or power tools to make replacement parts for aircraft structural and skin sections.
- →You will work from technical drawings, directives, manuals, and other written or verbal instructions to complete sheet metal work.
- →You will comply with safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
- →You will assist with training and/or mentoring other artisans at the same or lower level.
