This position is located within Environmental Management Services (EMS) of the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. The incumbent is responsible for the program oversight and management of uniform issuance, distribution and inventory, specialty textile items, and facility issued scrubs.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include but limited to: Perform full range of duties related to sewing, hemming, and repairing of uniforms to ensure that all items are clean and in satisfactory condition.
- →Ensure receipt of issued facility uniforms Reports discrepancies to the supervisor Assist Linen and Laundry staff Other duties as assigned Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0800-1630 PST Position Description Title/PD#: Sewing Machine Operator/PD027850 Critical Skills Incentive (CSI): Not approved Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized
