About the Role
The Senior Social Worker is responsible for providing Housing and Urban Development- Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) case management to Veterans and families in the HUD-VASH program.
What You'll Do
- →She/he may serve as a team lead and the delivery of these services requires specialized knowledge and skills and extensive experience in resource identification.
- →This position requires the ability to access VA medical, mental health, substance abuse, and other specialty clinical providers, as well as community providers, to collaborate in the care of Veterans.
- →Travel throughout the greater Los Angeles area is an essential requirement of the position.
- →Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm Telework: Ad hoc may be available after 90-days Functional Statement #: 000000 Physical Requirements: Light lifting (under 15 pounds); light carrying (under 15 pounds); reaching above shoulder; use of fingers; both hands required; walking; standing; hearing (aid permitted).

Requirements
