About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

- →A GS-12 Senior Social Worker has a Master's Degree in Social Work granted by a graduate program fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and also has an active clinical license at the Advance Practice level.
- →A GS- 12 Senior Social Worker in the RRTP program has advanced skills for working with veterans who experience chronic homelessness, substance abuse problems and persistent mental illness.
- →This RRTP Program is within the Behavioral Health Service Line, The incumbent will be certified to provide clinical supervision toward licensure.
- →The incumbent will be the senior clinician and will provide support to Admissions, conduct day of admission assessments and other clinical assessments as a part of the admission process.
- →Incumbent independently provides biopsychosocial and other assessments as well as post discharge engagement calls.
- →The Admissions Social Worker is administratively responsible for clinical processes and decision-making as assigned.
- →The Admissions Social Worker collaborates with other services within the VA SORCC, as well as community partners.

Requirements
