Senior Social Worker-HUD/VASH

About the Role
This position is eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
What You'll Do
- →The HUD-VASH program, a partnership between the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Depart of Veterans Affairs, is a clinical case management program for chronically homeless Veterans aimed at providing psychosocial services to Veterans who acquire permanent housing through HUD's Section 8 voucher system.
- →Functions as a Case Manager for the HUD/VASH Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program located at various sites within the SF VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) catchment area.
- →Duty Locations: 1) 671 Harrison Street, San Francisco, CA 94121 or 2) 525 21st Street, Oakland, CA 94612 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm or as determined by the hiring supervisor Driver License Requirement: This position is required to travel up to 76%.
- →A Current and Valid CA Driver License with good standing is required.
- →Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until 11/16/2026, or until those positions are filled.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
